Maybelline Limited Edition Fashion Week Fall 2011 Collection, swatches and photos

Hi guys! I'm so excited because my CVS never has LE collections, but today when I stopped in to get a Cherry Coke Zero, I saw their Maybelline Limited Edition Fashion Week Fall 2011 Collection display!
I had to pick up a few bits'n bobs:

-Lasting Drama by Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner in Forest, a deep green $9.99 (I want to get navy blue Sapphire as well)
-Eye Studio Quad in Makeover Mocha $10.49 (appears to have UD Naked and Buck dupes, plus a sheer highlight shade similar to their LE baked highlighter on the same display, and what I thought might be a duochrome gunmetal shadow but it's just subtly sparkly, not duochrome)
-ColourSensational Lipsticks, $7.49 each, in Designer Pink (wanted it to be a Viva Glam Gaga 1 dupe, but it's just a chalky pink I'll probably return) and Beige Bombshell (which is gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! Better than Viva Glam Gaga 2!)

I wish they were having a Maybelline sale on.

Sorry no eyeliner swatches, I'm saving it :P

  3. Thanks for commenting, Penelope! It is a great quad, especially for drugstore. I think it would suit a lot of people.

  4. Designer Pink looked pretty in the tube, it sucks it doesn't lok that great on the lips. The palette looks gorgeous but I've always been disappointed by the pigmentation of Maybelline eyeshadows z=

  7. Hi Gaby, this is only my second of the Eye Studio quads, but both of this particular line I've tried featured rather nice pigmentation and blendability for drugstore shadows. But they are certainly more crumbly than something like Too Faced or Urban Decay.

  8. I've been eyeing those eye studio quads, they are so tempting, but on the pricy side, so thank you for the review, I will be sure to give them a try! Also, I have that liquid liner by Mabelleine and I loooove it! The brush is fantastic, keeps my lines straight and the liner doesn't budget. It's perfect for that 1960s cat eye look!

  9. I'm pretty impressed with their Eye Studio gel liners myself! Cheaper than MAC, at least!
