When I went on a little date with my DH in Las Vegas to Sugar Factory American Brasserie late in the night, I wore a simple white ribbed tank and wanted to jazz it up with colorful makeup. I used the teals in the Sephora Palette I mentioned
here. This will give you an idea of how nice and pigmented this little bargain is. I apologize for the red eyes; Las Vegas is in the desert a.k.a. dry as a bone, plus pumping air conditioning in the casinos, pool chlorine, little sleep, and some cocktails conspired to make my eyes quite red!

Liner: Stila Sparkle Waterproof Liquid Liner in Bora Bora |

Mascara: Make Up For Ever Smoky Lash |

Eye Shadows: I used the lighter pink in the palette to highlight the browbone, the darker pink on the inner third of my lid. I blended the lighter turquoise in the outer two-thirds of my lid, and lightly applied the darker teal in my crease and outer v. |

Face: I evened out my complexion using Stila One Step Makeup in Tone 03 applied with an E.L.F. Studio sponge, and dabbed Urban Decay Afterglow Glide-on Cheek Tints in Quickie on the apples of my cheeks. This is great even over my foundation in such a dry environment! Now that I'm back in humid Michigan, this foundation and blush combo seems to slide off my face too fast for my liking. I contoured my cheeks lightly with the bronzer from the Sephora Palette. I would have used the blush from it as well but I wanted to keep the dewy effect of the UD cream blush.
Lips: A quick slick of Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Polish in Gabby, a sheer plum shimmer |
