One Year Ago...

I married my amazing husband at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas :-D I must confess that most of my glow in these pictures is happiness. Nothing else will make a person feel as beautiful as happiness!  Still, I thought you might be curious about my face-of-the-big-day:

Skin: Josie Maran Protect Daily Sun Protection Argan Oil Infused SPF 40+ (the sun in Las Vegas is serious, and we were married outstide in the Juno Garden)
Base Makeup: Revlon PhotoReady SPF 15 Foundation in 004 Nude, Make Up Forever HD Invisible Cover Foundation in 125 Sand, Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer in Light Golden, MAC Select Cover-Up in NC20 and NC30 (I had a bad breakout), Make Up Forever HD Microfinish Powder
Eyes: Too Faced Shadow Insurance, NARS Duo Eyeshadow in Charade ("muted mauve" on the lid, "smokey plum" in the crease), MAC Brule to highlight browbone, a touch of MAC Wedge to deepen the crease (we avoided shimmer because the wedding took place at 11:00am outdoors, and I chose a quite muted, natural look in the hopes it would appear classic), upper and lower lashes lined with Sephora Collection Retractable Waterproof Eyeliner in Brown (still love this), Dior DiorShow Black Out Waterproof Mascara (this clumped BADLY on the day and I had a small nervous breakdown!)
Cheeks: Stila Convertible Color in Gerbera
Lips: MAC Spice Lip Pencil (all the MAC makeup used belonged to my sister who did my makeup; can you believe at this time last year I owned NO MAC?), YSL Gloss Volupte in Sugared Almond

Hot Pink and Black

Hi all! Just a quick matchy-matchy look I wore to a coworker's wedding.  I'd like to note I did my makeup and took photos in daylight but this was an evening affair.
Sorry it's so blurry! The light was either too dim or too strong that day.  The dress was $14 from Kohl's and the sequined, skull-print platform pumps were from Hot Topic $32.  The nail color is Revlon Not So Blueberry.
Rohto Hada-Labo BB Moist Emulsion instead of Foundation, BE Mineral Veil, Jill Stuart Mix Blush Compact in Romantic Poppy (really love this but, day-amn! It's $65!) Covergirl LipPerfection Lipstick in Siren

TFSI, Jill Stuart Crystal Eyes Romantic Onyx (so sheer, pain in the BUTT to get all four shades in the quad this intensity, but nice sparkle), Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Liner pen, Stila Glamoureyes Mascara.

I bought the Japanese cosmetics from iMomoko.com with my own money, and I do recommend them.  They respond very quickly by e-mail if you have questions about your order.
