The only thing I got from Shop MAC, Cook MAC was the eye shadow quad in "Call Me Bubbles." And... you'll be shocked to know that this is MY FIRST MAC QUAD!
So far I'm really happy with it! The matte coral shadow ("Full of Flavour") makes a really pretty blush:

It really makes my green eyes pop, and I imagine it'd do even better with blue eyes!

ReplyDeleteThat is a really awesome quad. I actually only own one that I purchased like a year or two ago. I usually feel that the MAC quads sucks, but this one looks really unique and pigmented!

ReplyDeleteThanks Amy. I saw on a board that someone had suggested using the coral shade as blush and realized I needed this palette because it's so versatile :D It is a nicer blush than some blushers I have!

I think citrusy orange looks really great on brown eyes! I agree, short hair makes me overcompensate femininity with wild makeup ^.^
ReplyDeleteI really like the citrus color. Since I have brown eyes, I stick with variations of neutrals when I have to work and stuff (professionalism -- bah!), and this color would be perfect.

Hey Bonnie, me too. I often will skip eyeshadow during the day and then put it on at night... I probably should re-do my base makeup but I rarely do. That's why sometimes in my eye makeup posts my skin looks like p00p.

I love Coral!!! I have Coral Blush, LipStick, Nailpolish... It's so flattering on everyone :) This is a good one, I'll have to see if Mac has it or another comparable color.
