Hi Gaby, thanks :) So far, so good! My OB wasn't worried about me being vegan at all. I take a vegan prenatal vitamin and DHA, and the same vegan D and Calcium I took before I was pregnant. I try to eat more beans, tofu, and veggie burgers (I don't worry about soy, either. I've heard from unreliable sources that it can cause problems, but I'm not allergic and veggie burgers are so easy. If my doctor isn't concerned, I don't see why I should be). I'll certainly let you know if my veggie burger habit causes problems with the pregnancy/baby later on, but I think the whole "soy is bad" thing is probably bs. I try not to eat too many empty calories but if I really want something like candy I'll have it. I think it's just more meat/dairy industry propaganda that even confident vegans/vegetarians fall victim to when pregnant because we don't want to think we are putting our baby at risk. Honestly, it's looking to be a non-issue :D
Yaaay! I can't wait until this little baby is born, haha :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, that's how I feel! My mom isn't into makeup at all, but I hope that doesn't mean makeup obsession skips generations!

ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see how you progress!
And yes, I like the Revlon glue much better than the DUO. I actually hate DUO glue!
Thanks, Nancy :D And thanks for answering my question - if you prefer it, I really have to try the Revlon lash glue!
