ReplyDeleteHi Holly, good luck :)
DeleteWow, I wish I had your budget!! I would be in makeup heaven every month! lol. Love the stuff you got! :)
ReplyDeleteMariahl03@hotmail.com
I have a giveaway on my blog if you haven't entered yet :)
Ooh, I'll check your giveaway out :)
DeleteI know, it's still too big a budget! Got to cut back ;)
I also wish I had your budget too! Since my funds are extremely low this year, I have been missing out on tons of beauty and makeup related product... :(
ReplyDeletelizking1216@gmail.com
Hi Liz, me too, compared to last year... but it isn't good to blow so much money on just makeup. I'm still trying to find a good balance. Good luck on winning :)
Deleteplease enter me, Sarah! :D
ReplyDeleteLena (lenallure.com) lenallure@gmail.com
good luck with your April budget!
i admire you. the march items seem all necessary purchases, too. ;)
Hi Lena, thanks so much :)
DeleteWoohoo for giveaways! I am currently on a no spend budget after starting spring cleaning and finding a lot of neglected makeup! mrsweslowski at yahoo dot com thank you!
ReplyDeleteThat's amazing, I hope I can do a no-buy (for makeup) at some point. Good luck :) It's great finding makeup we've forgotten about!
DeleteThe only things I bought recently and haven't posted in a jaul post on my blog yet are Revlon Lip Butter in Cupcake ($3.99), Carmex in the squeezable tube ($1.99) and Nivea Visage Natural Beauty L'Occitane Original Shea Hand Cream Eye Cream ($2). I don't know, I have so many things that I want to use up first, I'm not tempted to buy too much things. Since the Revlon lip butters received so much hype but I thought they were way too pricey at $9, I had to get one when they got on sale. The Nivea is from the dollar store and I loved the pot version of Carmex so I wanted the squeezable tube as well, I think the formula is creamier (:
ReplyDeleteWhat do you think of the lipbutter? Cupcake is one of the harder shades to pull off, but you probably can :)
DeleteWhat a wonderful selection for $200! I really want to try Bioderma. Even though VG Nicki is so bright, I'm tempted to try it too! Thanks for the giveaway too, my gmail is cuteandmundane
ReplyDeleteI've seen VG Nicki toned down with a nude and that looks lovely too, for just a hint of the shade :)
Deletevilaygrrl@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see you try on the shadows and lipsticks!
Thanks Vilay, good luck :)
DeleteBeansprout89@hotmail.com !!! Awesome giveaway ... havent one a giveaway ever but there so much fun !
ReplyDeleteGlad you like it, best of luck

ReplyDeleteWow, $200 makeup budget and skimming down to $150? Good luck! I don't wear too much makeup; I stick to the essentials (skincare, eyeliner, lip balm, powder foundation, etc)... but I do know (from my experience) that it's super easy to spend $100 at Sephora alone. I love that store! So, I do wish you the best of luck :) Are you doing it for yourself as a "beauty challenge" or doing the budget slim down due to financial constraints? Just curious; you don't have to answer if you don't want to. :)
By the way, does BioDerma make creams as well? Are they good/reputable and do they work for extremely sensitive skin? I'd love to know your thoughts.
Also, L'Occitane's rose hand cream is my favorite! x.

Hi Elvia, I know it's so easy to spend more than $150 at Sephora alone! Really great point... it sounded like a lot to me when I started but now I realize how easy it is to do. I have to do more planning and less impulse-buying. This is really a beauty challenge for me and so my husband won't be annoyed by all the money I spend on makeup (I can't possibly wear it all, after all). Also, I kept buying more and more storage and I realized I didn't want to have to sift through duds all the time to get to what I really wear.
DeleteI believe Bioderma makes a full skincare line but I have only tried the Crealine H20 so I'm not sure how their sensitive skin products are, sorry!
Your blog looks really nice :)
i would like to try...thanks for your information..

ReplyDeletehaha :) good luck!
DeleteGood job on the budget!
ReplyDeleteelexmarie@gmail.com
Thanks :)
DeleteA $200/month makeup budget would be so difficult for me. As you know, I'm a bit of a compulsive shopper - it's really bad when I walk into Sephora.

Me too, girl, me too!
DeleteVery awesome!! I have been spending a lot of money on makeup (again), but mostly on indie makeup.
ReplyDeleteHow are you liking the Bioderma so far?
Really liking it! It does a good job removing my makeup and I love that I don't have to use a cleanser afterward if I'm feeling lazy :D
DeleteI LOVE that hand creme!
ReplyDeletehttp://sandra-thepuzzleofmylife.blogspot.com/
It would totally be my HG if only it smelled like chocolate ;)
